Job Summary
Support, develop, and deliver HV and EHV transmission line projects from 69kV up to 500kV. Independently perform engineering, detail design drawings, studies, and analysis, including plan and profile documents, bidding documents, and shop drawing reviews. Coordinate with civil, structural, and geotechnical engineers to develop complete Issue For Construction design packages. Act as Project Manager, Proposal Manager, and Technical Lead to manage client engagement, permitting, and construction management. Mentor junior team members and conduct quality assurance on electrical engineering work. This role requires 30% travel to client sites within North America and involves direct interface with Arcadis's Power Delivery & Renewable team.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience within Transmission line projects from 69kV up to 500kV
- Able to execute and delivery transmission line package under minimal supervision
- Proficient with PLS-CADD software
- Ability to engineer and design HV and EHV transmission foundations, material, plan and profiles, and construction packages
- Design experience adhering to National Electrical Code, National Electric Safety Code, IEEE codes and standards, and county, city and state codes, ordinances and standards
Desired Qualifications
- PE license
- Master degree in Electrical Engineering
