Job Summary
Lead, Trades Planning oversees day-to-day coordination of inflight scope management for Trades scopes and facilitates core Preconstruction meetings and planning rhythms. Responsible for change management workflows (CO intake, logging and pricing), defining scope impacts with SMEs/field leadership, obtaining accurate QTOs, coordinating pricing packages with backup, and ensuring complete CO packages are handed off to Project Controls. Sets up and manages the preconstruction meeting cadence, distributes inputs and minutes, tracks decisions and action items, and maintains disciplined documentation. Requires detail-oriented, highly organized work with experience in construction change management, Precon coordination, and documentation workflows; proficient with Procore, Excel/Sheets, and scheduling tools; able to influence across multiple stakeholders and travel to project sites as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in construction planning, estimating coordination, project engineering, project controls, or change management
- Strong familiarity with change order workflows, QTO/QTQ fundamentals, and documentation discipline
- Proficiency with Procore (or similar), Excel/Sheets, and scheduling/planning tools
- Strong communication and coordination skills; able to manage by influence across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
- Occasional travel to project sites and meetings as needed
