Lead Tool & Die Maker

Lead Tool & Die Technician role focused on MIG/TIG welding across tool steels, with machining capabilities, reading blueprints and precision measurements, troubleshooting and maintaining dies and manufacturing equipment, upholding strict safety standards (Lockout/Tag-Out), and maintaining 6-S in the tool room while driving continuous improvement. Requires significant experience with hard tooling dies and tandem/transfer dies for OEM or Tier 1 suppliers, ability to work 8–12 hours per shift, and collaboration with team members to achieve department goals. The role demands standing for long periods, manual dexterity, lifting up to 75 lbs with assistance, routine reaching and bending, repetitive motions, and use of PPE.
