Job Summary
Lead Toddler Teacher coordinating daily operations of assigned classes, planning, presenting, and evaluating educational and recreational activities for childcare in a safe environment; works directly with children and parents daily to provide quality customer service; observe children’s interests and collaborate with colleagues to develop engaging curriculum; communicate with parents daily about children’s activities and progress via apps and discussions; contribute to curriculum development and maintain classroom ratios while ensuring safety and smooth school operations. Requires an associate (or bachelor) in early childhood education or related field, CDA may be preferred, 1-2 years of experience preferred, pre-service training completed, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Child Development Associate (CDA) preferred
- 1-2 years of previous experience preferred
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Meets background check eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in relation to facilitating programs and child safety
