Job Summary
Plan and implement engaging, hands-on learning experiences that support toddlers' language, social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Create a nurturing classroom built around curiosity and exploration while leading daily routines with patience and consistency. Build strong relationships with families through open communication and mentor Assistant Teachers to foster a collaborative team environment. Maintain a clean, organized, welcoming classroom where every child feels valued and capable.
Required Qualifications
- Pennsylvania Lead Teacher qualifications
- A Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education (or another Pennsylvania-approved equivalent) from an accredited college or university
- Experience working with toddlers (12–36 months) in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Successfully complete all required Pennsylvania state background clearances and licensing requirements
- Reliable, dependable, and professional with excellent communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds in connection with the care of young children
