Job Summary
Develop and implement age-appropriate Montessori curriculum, planning engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for toddlers. Lead innovative learning sessions while ensuring the safety and well-being of children at all times. Monitor and document each student's progress to assess individual growth and create a harmonious environment where both children and staff thrive. Maintain strong communication with parents and colleagues to support a collaborative classroom culture. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
