Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote toddlers' cognitive, social, and emotional development while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor individual progress and document student development within age-appropriate Montessori curricula. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers thrive. Assist in planning engaging activities and communicating effectively with parents and staff. Requires 12 Child Development Units and a High School Diploma; Montessori certification preferred. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
