Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly, this role offers a $2,000 hiring bonus payable in two installments. We provide childcare tuition discounts, career development programs, and opportunities for advancement within the Endeavor Schools family, which operates over 100 schools nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
