Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of students at all times. Monitor each child's progress and document their development to support age-appropriate curriculum implementation. Create a harmonious environment where both children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to work daily. This role requires 12 Child Development Units and strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly, you may receive a $2,000 hiring bonus payable in two installments after three and six months. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
