Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum and plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for toddlers. Monitor student progress and document development while ensuring safety and well-being at all times. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Requires High School Diploma, 12 Child Development Units, and Montessori certification preferred. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly with a $2,000 hiring bonus.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
