Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times. Monitor each student's progress and development, then assess and document their individual growth. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum to foster cognitive, social, and emotional development. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly, this role includes a $2,000 hiring bonus payable in two installments after three and six months. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
