Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum, plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development, and assess and document student progress. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly, this role includes a $2,000 hiring bonus payable in two installments. Candidates must hold 12 Child Development Units and possess strong communication skills. Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
