Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times. Monitor individual student progress and document development milestones to support age-appropriate curriculum implementation. Create a harmonious environment where both children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. This role requires 12 Child Development Units and strong communication skills for interacting with parents and staff. Starting at $23.00-$25.00 hourly, we offer a $2,000 hiring bonus, childcare tuition discounts, and career advancement opportunities within Endeavor Schools' nationwide network.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
