Job Summary
Lead age-appropriate curriculum and plan engaging activities to promote cognitive, social, and emotional development for toddlers. Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times while monitoring their progress and documenting development. Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Assist in implementing Montessori methods and interact with parents and staff to support student growth.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
Desired Qualifications
- Montessori Certification-Preferred
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
