Lead Toddler Teacher

Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment while developing an appropriate classroom management system to support children's developmental levels. Ensure state ratio requirements are met, perform immediate cleaning responsibilities, and advance children's physical and intellectual competence through developmentally appropriate activities. Adapt the program to individual needs, create a multi-cultural learning environment, and respect diversity. Communicate professionally with families, encourage their involvement in learning, maintain child portfolios and the Parent Board, and document observations using assessment tools. Attend faculty meetings, in-service days, and professional growth opportunities. This role supports the Goddard School's new Chicago South Loop preschool facility for ages 6 weeks to 6 years.
