Job Summary
Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment for children while planning and implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum using The Goddard School's Wonder of LearningTM framework. Support physical, cognitive, language, and social-emotional development through positive guidance that fosters confidence and independence. Lead an engaging, responsive classroom that encourages exploration and discovery, building strong relationships with families through regular communication. Collaborate with school leadership and fellow teachers to maintain a professional work environment and ensure compliance with all licensing regulations and school policies.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 12 college credits in Early Childhood Education with a plan of study leading toward a Child Development Associate (CDA) credential or a degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
- Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and collaboration skills
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a genuine passion for working with young children
Desired Qualifications
- Previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or early childhood education setting
