Job Summary
Implement age-appropriate lesson plans using the Wonder of Learning curriculum and lead daily activities to support each child's growth. Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment while supervising indoor and outdoor play to uphold licensing regulations. Observe, assess, and document children's development to inform activities and share insights with families. Communicate positively with guardians regarding progress and daily activities. Model positive guidance strategies to support social-emotional growth and conflict resolution. Collaborate with Assistant and Resource Teachers to foster a supportive team environment. Participate actively in ongoing professional development and training opportunities. Requires a high school diploma with an associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education preferred, plus a CDA and 1-2 years of licensed childcare experience. Desired Qualifications
- Associate's or bachelor's in Early Childhood Education
- Child Development Associate (CDA)
- 1-2 years of previous experience working with young children in a licensed childcare or preschool setting
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Develops relationships and communicates effectively with children, families and faculty members
