Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring the safety and well-being of toddlers at all times. Monitor children's progress and development, then create a harmonious environment where students and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day. Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum following Montessori pedagogy to foster cognitive, social, and emotional growth. This role requires AMI certification and current enrollment or graduation from accredited training for ages 0 to 3. Starting pay ranges from $23.00 to $26.00 hourly, with a $3,000 hiring bonus payable in installments. Required Qualifications
- AMI Certification
- Currently enrolled in or have graduated from an AMI accredited training for the ages 0 to 3
- Experience in Early Childhood Education in a certified child development center
- Prior experience with toddler and pre-school students
- Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and tablet
- 12 Child Development Units-Required by the State of California
