Job Summary
Carry a full clinical caseload delivering individual, family, and group therapy for adolescents and families. Serve as a trusted partner to the Clinical Director, stepping into clinical decision-making and leadership coverage during their absence. Supervise AMFT, APCC, and ASW clinicians while coaching recovery counselors and shift supervisors in real time. Lead treatment team meetings, case consultations, and shift huddles, coordinating care with psychiatrists, nurses, and residential staff. Support admissions, discharges, utilization review, and transitions of care while maintaining compliance with CCL, Joint Commission, and payer standards. Participate in the leadership on-call rotation. This role offers a path toward future clinical leadership within a collaborative, team-based environment focused on trauma-informed care for teens ages 12–17.
Required Qualifications
- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or MFT
- Active CA license: LMFT, LCSW, LPCC, PhD, or PsyD
- Meets California requirements to supervise associate clinicians
- 3+ years in adolescent residential treatment, psychiatric care, or another intensive behavioral health setting
- Experience supervising, mentoring, or informally leading other clinicians
- Strong background in trauma-informed care, family therapy, and complex co-occurring needs
- Must be available for Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday shifts
- All positions require LiveScan background check
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Clinical Lead, Clinical Supervisor, Assistant Clinical Director, or Program Director
- Training in DBT, CBT, EMDR, or motivational interviewing
- Familiarity with CCL and Joint Commission standards
