Job Summary
Deliver a continuum of neuromuscular, orthopedic, and physically-related disorder care through mobility training, strengthening, manual therapy, and re-education. Manage daily staffing, patient scheduling, regulatory compliance, and physician relations while mentoring staff and overseeing unit operations. Evaluate assigned patients to develop and modify treatment plans, then select and implement therapy activities to meet patient and family goals. Achieve service line standards for quality care, outcomes, and satisfaction. Requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in physical or occupational therapy, two years of direct patient care experience, and current state licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or Master Degree
- Two (2) years of applicable work experience providing direct patient care in outpatient, inpatient or inpatient rehab unit
- Current state of employment licensure in physical therapy OR current state of employment licensure in occupational therapy and Registered Occupational Therapist
- BLS through American Heart Association
Desired Qualifications
- Master Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
- Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy
- Previous leadership experience
- Prior use of electronic medical records
