Job Summary

Develop, manage, and maintain all services at Northside Psychiatric and DeSoto Psychiatric, including assessment, service coordination, skills coaching, and psychotherapy for patients and families in office, school, home, and community settings. Ensure the program meets internal and external standards, monitor program budget, and provide clinical supervision to mental health professionals and case managers. Responsible for meeting a minimal direct service standard, managing staff compliance, and interacting with the community on behalf of the program. Requires a Master's or doctoral degree, active Florida clinical license, and five years of clinical experience with one year of supervisory experience.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's or doctoral degree(s) from an accredited college or university with major coursework in Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or related field
  • FL license as a Psychologist, Clinical Social Worker, Marriage and Family Therapist, or Mental Health Counselor
  • Minimum five (5) years' experience in a clinical setting, with at least one (1) year supervisory experience
  • Must possess knowledge of Florida Baker Act Law
  • Ability to pass a level II Background clearance and drug test
  • Valid FL drivers' license, insurance, and safe driving record
  • Licensure, certification, registration are current including continuing education requirements
  • CBHC New Hire Orientation (NHO) completed within first two (2) months of employment
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods
  • Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle in all driving conditions
  • Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
  • Ability to manage personnel, plan programs, manage budget and work with other members of the management team
  • Must maintain high standards of ethical and professional conduct, while adhering to agency policies and procedures
  • Ability to use a computer
