Job Summary
Lead Texas CEI Sr. Project Manager role based in Austin, TX, driving growth of the Construction Engineering & Inspection (CEI) Market in Texas. Develop a detailed CEI business development plan, build and guide the internal CEI team in the region, identify strategic partners, and lead proposal development and interview presentations. Manage client relationships with TxDOT, Toll Road Authorities, and other agencies; coordinate marketing and prepositioning for RFPs; conduct regular client visits. Perform CEI PM duties, oversee staffing, ensure high billability (90+%), and participate in billing and project reviews. Apply expertise in CEI functions such as CSS, OVTI, IE, CPM scheduling, and related transportation services; leverage knowledge of TxDOT requirements and certifications. Minimum requirements include a BA/BS with 10 years of relevant experience (including leadership) and a TX PE license or ability to obtain within six months. Preferred qualifications include 15+ years of transportation experience and familiarity with TxDOT tools and certifications.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
- MVR check required
- PE license required in TX or ability to obtain the license in six months
