Job Summary
Own and define test strategy and plans across the program, aligning activities with business requirements and project objectives. Oversee comprehensive test case development covering functionalities, user journeys, and edge cases, while setting quality gates to drive execution of manual and automated tests. Drive performance and security testing practices, analyze quality metrics to identify trends, and lead code and test strategy reviews to provide direction to the team. Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, presenting testing results and strategic recommendations to leadership. Mentor senior and junior engineers to identify skill gaps and drive training plans, while staying updated on industry trends to cascade knowledge to the team.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Test Professional in Quality Assurance
- demonstrated experience leading or mentoring a testing team
- Expertise in the ETL Process
- Solid business understanding of Financial Data Management — Reference data, Asset Managers, Corporate Actions
- Prior formal people-management or team-lead experience
Desired Qualifications
- Good to have ISTQB certification (Advanced level a plus)
- Capital Markets domain knowledge, preferably with BUY SIDE firms and experience
- Experience working with Reference Data Management setup and understanding of various asset classes (Equity, Derivatives, and Fixed Income, etc.) and Market data feeds (Reuters, Bloomberg, MarkIT, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a self-assured approach, comfortable operating with leadership and senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, including listening skills
- Proactive nature and a natural drive for problem-solving
- Enthusiastic, committed, and result-oriented, with a track record of driving outcomes through others
