Job Summary
Lead test development projects from concept through deployment, architecting electrical, mechanical, software, and system-level test solutions for medium- to high-complexity products. Develop test quotes, schedules, validation plans, and technical documentation while designing and supporting ICT, MDA, Boundary Scan/JTAG, functional, ESS/HASS, and system test solutions using LabVIEW, TestStand, C#, and related tools. Support DFT analysis, hardware/software debug, validation, installation, and production support. Partner with project managers and customers to communicate status, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans, while mentoring engineers and technicians. Ensure compliance with company security policies and engineering standards. Travel up to 50% domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 8–10 years of experience in manufacturing test development or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Expertise in manufacturing test strategy
- Expertise in DFT
- Expertise in structural and functional test development
- Experience with PXI/LXI systems
- Experience with custom hardware
- Experience with automation fixtures
- Experience with test instrumentation
- Strong programming skills in LabVIEW, LabWindows/CVI, TestStand, C#, ANSI C/C++, or similar
- Knowledge of OrCAD
- Knowledge of AutoCAD
- Knowledge of FabMaster
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Knowledge of project tracking tools
- Excellent customer communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead technical projects
- Ability to mentor team members
- Ability to travel up to 50% domestically/internationally
- Must be able to lift, pull or push a load in excess of 50 lbs. without assistance
