Job Summary
Lead Test Engineer role within DTCC's IT FinSight Delivery team, responsible for ensuring that all applications and systems meet defined quality standards across End-to-End scenarios, developing automated testing solutions, and providing centralized testing oversight. Responsibilities include preparing and executing test plans and automated scripts (Selenium Java), maintaining traceability from requirements to tests, coordinating with delivery pipelines, identifying environmental/data dependencies, mentoring teammates on test coverage, and aligning risk and control processes within day-to-day duties. The position requires hands-on automation, strong SQL querying capability, and collaboration across business clients and technical teams to ensure quality delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of related experience
- Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent experience
- Experience in Selenium Java with hands-on experience
- Experience with testing modern scripting language-based components
- Experience in writing sophisticated SQL queries
- Experience with JIRA, Microfocus ALM, Bitbucket, Git, and Jenkins
- Experience with Agile/Waterfall, onsite/offshore work model and coordination
- In-depth knowledge of the software implementation lifecycle (testing model, methodology, processes)
- Experience with front-end & backend testing using Java and Selenium
