Job Summary
Lead Teller in a KeyBank branch (Essex Junction, VT). Responsible for supervising teller operations, coaching tellers, handling scheduling, ensuring regulatory/compliance standards, and identifying opportunities to advance client financial wellness by guiding clients to a Banker. The role emphasizes strong client relationships, cash handling accuracy, in-person service, team leadership, and knowledge of product guides and policies. Also involved in onboarding new Tellers, participating in morning huddles and end-of-day debriefs, and supporting branch objectives while maintaining high integrity and adherence to security procedures. Requires high school diploma/GED or equivalent business experience, 3+ years of experience with client relationships and cash handling, proficiency with PC software, and notary licensure preferred. Responsibilities include observing, coaching tellers, balancing drawers, and delivering exception-quality customer service; Saturday work is possible as directed by management.
