Job Summary
Lead Teller in Portland, ME acts as a resource to identify and resolve complex client servicing issues, coach tellers to enhance the client experience, manage day-to-day teller line operations including scheduling and adherence to regulatory procedures, and transition clients to a Banker for deeper financial wellness discussions. The role involves coaching staff, observing operations, ensuring accuracy of cash handling, staying current on product guides, and supporting onboarding and training of new Tellers, with in-person branch duties and weekend work as directed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent business experience (required)
- 3+ years Demonstrated superior client relationship skills (required)
- 3+ years Experienced in cash handling (required)
- Working knowledge of PC with Windows based applications and calculator (required)
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork (required)
- Demonstrated organizational skills while managing multiple tasks (required)
- Notary License (preferred)
