Job Summary
The Lead Technologist supports the Asia Product Development Team by driving inorganic business growth in Rigids applications and resolving customer production challenges. Responsibilities include ensuring EHS compliance, leading Rigids Development Projects, and maintaining equipment for applications. The ideal candidate has a Master’s degree in polymer science or related fields, over 10 years of technical experience in the polyurethane industry, strong communication skills, and proficiency in relevant technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Master or above degree with major in polymer science or other chemical-related fields
- In-depth knowledge about Rigids technologies and polyurethane industries
- Rich experience and knowledge in PU Rigids formulation, processing and production
- Sufficient knowledge about chemicals business, marketing, supply chain, finance etc.
- Effective interpersonal, communication, negotiating and influencing skills
- Strong Polyurethane Rigids application and product development skill
- Sufficient equipment operation skill for adhesive and coating applications
- Sufficient computer application skills
- Fluent English command
- More than 10 years’ technical development or technical service related experience in Rigids fields or polyurethane industries
