Job Summary
Lead Technician is the frontline specialist responsible for responding to leads, meeting with home or business owners to assess damage, guiding customers through the insurance-claims process, and obtaining signed contracts. The role designs and supervises extraction, drying, demolition and cleaning per the IICRC S500 standard, while maintaining safety and professional customer interaction. Daily tasks include monitoring and documenting progress, taking moisture readings, uploading notes and photos, and on-call availability weeknights and weekends. The position emphasizes teamwork, equipment knowledge, and the ability to support customers under duress.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or more
- 3+ years’ experience as a certified field technician
- Knowledge of Water/Fire/Mold Restoration business
- Strong communication skills
- Professional, driven attitude
