Lead Technician

Job Summary
Conduct on-site or in-house servicing, repair, and installation of customer electronic equipment, wiring, and component systems. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hardware, video surveillance, radar/LIDAR, and network communications gear. Lead and train technicians while assisting management with field problem solving and parts distribution. Complete reports, logs, and shift communications; restore equipment to operational status and maintain spare parts inventory. Respond to corrective maintenance requests and alarms within established time frames. Recommend preventative maintenance actions, administrative practices, and system utilization improvements.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience
- Driver's license in good standing
- Comfortable working at heights that could be in excess of 50 ft
- Proven expertise in leadership or supervisory role
- Advanced troubleshooting and repair skills for hardware, software, and network systems
- Expertise in networking protocols (TCP/IP), system integrations, and diagnostics
- Exceptional organizational and project management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
