Job Summary
Lead, supervise, and support a team of security installers across multiple job sites while planning and coordinating daily installation activities to ensure projects stay on schedule. Perform advanced installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of security systems including access control, CCTV, and intrusion detection. Serve as the primary point of contact in the field for technicians, project managers, and customers. Train, mentor, and develop junior technicians to improve overall team skill level and performance. Conduct site walks, verify materials, and ensure proper system design execution. Maintain accurate documentation, including job progress, changes, and completion reports. Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize delays and rework.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 5+ years of experience in security system installation (CCTV, access control, intrusion systems)
- Valid driver license and acceptable driving record
- Proven experience leading or supervising field technicians or installation teams
- Strong knowledge of low-voltage systems, wiring standards, and industry best practices
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience coordinating multiple projects and managing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Manufacturer Certifications (i.e. Lenel, AMAG, SWH, Genetec, Avigilon, Hanwha, Axis)
- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA compliance
