Job Summary
Supervise, train, and mentor junior technicians while coordinating daily work activities and managing maintenance schedules. Diagnose, install, and maintain equipment to ensure optimal performance, resolving complex technical issues that subordinates cannot handle. Oversee technical projects and uphold safety policies, including implementing safety protocols and maintaining detailed service records, reports, and manuals. Requires 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical field, with a preference for a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field.
Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical field
- High school diploma
- Deep knowledge of specific machinery, software, or systems (e.g., HVAC, IT, automotive)
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Specialized certifications (e.g., A.S.E. for automotive, HVAC, or IT certifications)
- Ability to lift up to 30–100 lbs
- Ability to bend
- Ability to work in various environments
