Job Summary
Direct and assist technicians in completing job tasks with safe workmanship while performing control system, skid packaged automation, and electrical installation fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting. Read and review electrical and P&ID drawings to identify discrepancies for management, then mentor subordinates and monitor tool usage. Document testing and inspection reports, ensure adherence to quality standards and HSE policies, and mitigate safety hazards. Perform these functions with minimal supervision across the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read, understand, and review electrical and P&ID drawings
- Experience with Control System fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting including PLC, DCS, HMI, Pneumatic & Hydraulic control panels, and Power Distribution Systems (MCC, UPS, Lighting)
- Experience with Skid Packaged Automation fabrication, testing, and troubleshooting including hydraulic power units and chemical injection systems
- Electrical, Instrumentation, and Tubing Installation experience
- Ability to mentor and train subordinates
- Ability to recognize and mitigate safety hazards and dangers
