Job Summary
Lead water damage, fire damage, and mold remediation jobs from initial assessment through completion, operating moisture-mapping equipment, air movers, and containment setups. Oversee Xactimate-based scoping and documentation for insurance claims while training, mentoring, and quality-checking junior technicians. Serve as the on-site technical authority for complex or high-value restoration jobs, maintaining clear communication with adjusters, GCs, and homeowners. Ensure jobs meet IICRC standards and complete work orders and mobile documentation accurately. Maintain company equipment and stay current on cross-training in mold, fire, trauma, and odor services. Requires 5+ years of hands-on experience, IICRC WRT and AMRT certifications, and ability to work flexible hours including emergency response calls.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on water/fire/mold restoration experience
- IICRC certifications: WRT (Water Damage Restoration Technician)
- IICRC certifications: AMRT (Applied Microbial Remediation Technician)
- Valid driver's license
- Clean driving record
- Ability to work flexible hours, including emergency/storm response calls
- Comfortable using mobile devices for daily reports and job documentation
- Comfortable with hands-on physical work
Desired Qualifications
- Additional IICRC certifications: ASD, FSRT, OCT, CCT
- Experience with Xactimate scoping and insurance-driven restoration workflows
- Proven ability to lead and train other technicians
