Job Summary

Lead a team of three or more technicians through every phase of mitigation and environmental projects, directing staff on pickups, material orders, and repairs while adhering to code regulations. Maintain regular communications with stakeholders regarding project schedules, scope changes, and resources to ensure smooth completion. Supervise multiple job types daily, from simple to large losses, while serving as the Site Safety Representative to enforce safety guidelines and brief crews on hazards. Mentor technicians through coaching and feedback, complete daily crew sheets and job notes, and manage timecards and detailed work orders for billing.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in lead technician role in construction field, and/or restoration/mitigation field or experience gained through successfully meeting job requirements of Lead Tech I
  • Valid Driver's License, with driving record in good standing (Class C)
  • Must be insurable
  • Able to pass Respirator Physical and obtain respiratory fit exam
  • Industry certifications preferred, with ability to pass medical exams if required for certification
  • Good grasp of English language (read, write, verbal)
  • Successfully completed the Site Safety representative training
  • Possesses thorough knowledge of company SOP's and adheres to guidelines
  • Expertise in use of hand tools, power tools, and other miscellaneous equipment to complete the job
  • Can interpret, basic to complex instructions/plans/guidelines (i.e. - Material Data Sheets, schematics, drawings, etc)
  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly and up to 100lbs. with assistance
  • Ability to perform tasks that require, walking, bending, reaching, crouching, kneeling, climb, squat, crawl, lift above shoulder, reach, and twist
  • Prolonged sitting or standing required (in office, driving and/or at job sites). Regular alternating between sitting and standing
  • Continuous repetitive motion and tasks involving L/R hand movement (computer/mouse), wrists, or arms (e.g., typing, data entry)
  • Capacity to operate machinery and tools as required by job tasks, which may involve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Requirement for clear vision (e.g., close work, computer use, eye hand coordination)
  • Work after hours and weekends given our 24/7 business operations
  • May include travel to and from job sites, requiring the use of company and/or personal vehicles. Possibility of attending out-of-town trainings, meetings, or conferences
