Job Summary

Lead mitigation and environmental projects from initial stages to completion by coordinating schedules, materials, and personnel resources with key stakeholders. Supervise a small group of technicians, providing direction based on defined job parameters while mentoring staff through coaching and skill development. Perform necessary repairs adhering to code regulations, manage company vehicles and restock supplies, and complete daily crew sheets, job notes, and work orders including measurements and moisture readings. Serve as a role model enforcing safety procedures, conducting job site briefings, and ensuring accurate timecard completion. Maintain trade skills through regular training and interpret material data sheets to support project growth.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 1-year experience in lead technician role in construction field, and/or restoration/mitigation field or experience gained through successfully meeting job requirements of Tech III
  • Valid Driver's License, with driving record in good standing (Class C)
  • Must be insurable
  • Displays understanding of safety guidelines, applies to daily tasks and holds accountable his crew for doing the same
  • Possesses awareness of company handbook/policies, SOP's and adheres to guidelines. Communicates desired outcomes and shares with crew through application of SOP's in daily activities
  • Supports development of technicians (crew) through demonstration, encouraging opportunities for growth
  • Good knowledge in use of hand tools, power tools, and other miscellaneous equipment to complete the job
  • Continuous growth mindset, open to feedback and applies what they learn for themselves and teaches others
  • Good grasp of English language (read, write, verbal)
  • Able to pass Respirator Physical and obtain respiratory fit exam
  • Can interpret and apply basic instructions (i.e. – Material Data Sheets)
  • Industry certifications preferred, with ability to pass medical exams if required for certification
  • Ability to lift and carry materials or equipment weighing up to 25 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. with assistance
  • Capacity to operate machinery and tools as required by job tasks, which may involve fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination
  • Requirement for clear vision (e.g., close work, computer use, eye coordination)
  • Work after hours and weekends given our 24/7 business operations
  • May include travel to and from job sites, requiring the use of company vehicles. Possibility of attending out-of-town training or conferences
