Job Summary
Lead preventative maintenance and repairs per work order requirements, including minor plumbing, painting, carpentry, and electrical tasks as allowed without a license. Perform service and asset inspections, self-perform duties in compliance with safety standards, and complete administrative functions via tablet or business systems. Serve as tactical leader in the field by assigning tasks, coaching technicians, observing workmanship, and assisting with complicated orders. Apply 95% of time to billable work orders while maintaining knowledge of OSHA standards and building codes. Requires five years of mechanical experience in trades like electrical, plumbing, and carpentry. Compensation is $35–38 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma or Degree/Certification, or equivalent professional experience in Landscaping, Trades (Electrical, HVAC, Plumbing, Carpentry, etc.) or Specialty Floor Care
- Five or more years mechanical experience, including electrical, plumbing, carpentry required
- Must possess applicable certifications, licenses, and valid driver's license in good standing
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization
- Experience in the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of building mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
