Job Summary
Lead Technician responsible for hands-on delivery of mechanical and maintenance work packages across the Cadent network, leading and supporting operatives, applying technical knowledge in mechanical, fabrication and maintenance activities, and driving safety, quality, and continuous improvement. The role involves managing delivery of cyclical and ad-hoc maintenance, supporting project delivery and procurement, coaching others, and engaging with internal teams, suppliers and customers to resolve issues. Key focus areas include safe delivery in line with SCO and CDM requirements, hands-on leadership, stakeholder engagement, KPI tracking and reporting, and adherence to engineering standards and safe systems of work. Qualifications include Mechanical Engineering NVQ (or equivalent), SCO authorisations (or working towards), and a full UK driving licence; IOSH or equivalent safety qualification is desirable. Interviews scheduled for 16-17 July. Flexible working options are available.
