Job Summary
Design, develop, and document modifications to computer programs for machine operating systems and testing equipment. Monitor equipment function, maintain logs of faults and repairs, and test hardware to ensure specifications are met. Assemble and modify existing equipment to meet special needs while specifying power supply requirements and configurations. Track computer hardware inventory levels and recommend purchases to maintain departmental reliability. Identify and isolate defects in re-tested parts and inform supervision of mechanical or electrical failures. Provide detailed reporting and analytics for in-house and onsite projects, supporting business development activities with technical knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED equivalency
- Must meet the physical requirements including, but not limited to lifting, walking, standing, sitting, climbing stairs
- Lead Technician I: Minimum 1 years of experience from a similar position
- Lead Technician II: Minimum 3 years of experience from a similar position
- Must be able to lift 55-pound boxes
- Must be able to work in an environment with dust exposure and extreme temperature fluctuations
- Must be able to wear required ESD clothing and accessories
- Must have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to build collaborative relationships with employees at all levels of the organization
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to apply common sense with the understanding to carry out instructions
- Understanding of FC/SCSI/SAS/SATA interfaces and storage arrays
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to frequently lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 pounds
- Must be able to comply with OSHA standards
