Job Summary
Develop and execute technical training strategies for ACT-Charger products, creating standardized onboarding and certification programs for dealer networks, field service teams, and internal support personnel. Deliver hands-on sessions covering material handling, electrical fundamentals, diagnostics, firmware updates, and safety protocols while serving as the primary subject matter expert. Manage training schedules, instructor assignments, and resources to ensure compliance with OSHA standards and industry policies. Establish certification requirements, update training materials based on engineering changes, and provide mentorship to technical support staff. Collaborate with engineering, product management, and service departments to maintain training accuracy and support the growth of the dealer network. Requires 10+ years of experience in technical training or field service, with 5+ years in leadership roles.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Automotive Technology, Education, or related field
- 10+ years of experience in technical training, field service, or technical support
- 5+ years of leadership or senior trainer experience
- Experience with EV chargers, electrical systems, industrial equipment, or related technologies
- AC/DC electrical systems
- High-voltage safety
- Diagnostics and troubleshooting
- Networking and communication protocols
- Experience developing technical training materials and certification programs
- ASE, EVITP, or electrical certifications
- Experience in EV charging infrastructure or renewable energy industries
- Knowledge of CAN communication
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50-70% as needed
