Job Summary
Lead Technical Program Manager at JPMorgan Chase drives cross-functional technology programs in AIML Data Platforms under the Chief Data Analytics Office. Oversees planning, Agile execution (JIRA/Confluence), risk management, vendor relations, and stakeholder communications; partners with product teams to align technical programs with business goals; ensures scalable, cost-efficient data platform solutions leveraging modern architectures (data lakes/warehouses/lakehouse) and cloud services (Databricks/Snowflake/AWS). Responsibilities include creating/maintaining plans, guiding Agile ceremonies, maintaining artifacts and metrics, managing risks, dependencies, and communications, and championing continuous improvement and technology adoption.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management
- Hands-on experience with agile project management tools (JIRA, Confluence, MS Project)
- Proven ability to manage vendor relations and implement technical solutions
- Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
- Experience leading through change and managing dependencies in high-pressure environments
- Strong stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of data platform trade-offs including performance, cost, scalability
- Deep technical understanding of data platform architectures (data lakes, data warehouses, lakehouse, distributed computing)
- Experience with enterprise-scale cloud-native data platforms (Databricks, Snowflake)
- Good understanding of AWS data analytics services (Redshift, EMR, Glue, Athena, Kinesis, Lake Formation, MSK, S3)
