Lead Technical Program Manager responsible for data center GPU deployment projects from early site planning through final rack-and-stack, coordinating hardware delivery and installation with supply chain, colocation providers, and internal networking teams; translate customer AI needs into actionable deployment plans; build repeatable deployment processes to accelerate GPU onboarding and manage deployment risks.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as a Technical Program Manager, coordinating hardware, facilities, or data center infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of hardware deployment workflows, ideally from working at a cloud provider, colocation facility, or specialized AI company
- Familiarity with basic data center concepts (rack space, power limits, cooling requirements)
- Proficiency with procurement lifecycle (tracking orders, forecasting demand, managing long lead times)
- Basic familiarity with the AI/ML hardware space (GPUs and differences for training vs inference)
- Experience with external vendor coordination (colocation facility managers, remote hands)
- Strong risk management skills to anticipate deployment risks and develop contingency plans
- Cross-functional teamwork between technical and operational teams
- Proficiency with project management tooling (tracking/ticketing systems)
- Excellent communication and organization skills
