Job Summary
Lead Technical Artist to design and maintain scalable content pipelines and production tools across projects; define workflows, develop custom tools, and bridge artists, engineers, and design teams to produce high-quality, performant assets efficiently. Manage and mentor a team of technical artists, set standards for content creation, and coordinate with production and external partners to ensure alignment with technical standards and production goals. Requires onsite presence at one of the studios at least 3 days a week (Brighton or Brno).
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience in the games industry with pipeline/tools focus
- Proven track record as Senior/Lead Technical Artist
- 2 shipped AAA titles
- Proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 editor and asset workflows
- Scripting/programming (Python, C++, C#)
- Perforce version control
- Build/automation systems (Jenkins, Unreal Build Tools, CI/CD)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Experience coordinating with outsourcing partners and distributed teams
