Job Summary
Lead Technical Artist responsible for developing/updating artwork and animation for video-based gaming projects; focus on content implementation pipeline; ensure asset management, file organisation and output configuration are clearly and correctly executed; schedule and manage time with agile development leaders; deliver assets on time to specification with thorough attention to detail; perform peer reviews for accuracy and quality; contribute to game documentation; collaborate with multi-disciplined teams to achieve high-quality games; follow Mojo Studio guidelines to develop art assets; bring ideas to improve tools and processes; preferred experience in Unity and asset version control (Perforce).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree/BFA/MFA or equivalent work experience of 5-8 years in relevant field.
- Experience in 2D/3D gaming, 2D/3D game designing
- Must have strong experience in Adobe products (After Effects and Photoshop)
- Ability to sketch or draw (digital or traditional) concepts and ideas, storyboarding is good to have
- Good knowledge of any scripting language to automate Artist tools
- Experience in using Assets control systems (like Perforce).
- Experience with Unity will be a plus
- A good eye for attention to detail and be willing to follow technical/compliance specifications
