Job Summary
Lead Technical Architect role focusing on architectural leadership for Temenos banking projects. Design viable technical solutions aligned with business requirements, act as interface between project team and client, lead technical teams to resolve complex problems, and ensure non-functional characteristics (online performance, high availability, disaster recovery) are achieved. Represent Temenos in client engagements, provide guidance on environment management and release control, and ensure compliance with Temenos Implementation Methodology (TIM). Travel to client sites is required. Expected expertise spans Temenos product knowledge, integration interfaces, APIs, event-driven architecture, security concepts, and cloud/platform integrations, with a strong emphasis on leadership and stakeholder management.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years of experience in software technical consultancy including T24 implementation experience in a banking environment
- Programming in Java, Javascript, Infobasic
- Experience with Application Servers (jBOSS, WebSphere, WebLogic)
- OS knowledge: Windows, RedHat Linux, IBM AIX
- Understanding of RDBMS: MSSQL, DB2, Oracle
- Exposure to mainframes
- Knowledge of Java VMs, WAR/EAR, performance tuning, JMS, ESB, SSO, LDAP/Active Directory
- Experience with API integration, web services, and event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of integration and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and leading cross-functional teams
- Strong Temenos product knowledge and understanding of Temenos T24 architecture
- Industry awareness and market developments
