Job Summary
Complete quality control and daily checks as required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the hospital Radiation Safety Program. Perform nuclear medicine testing and assist the operational manager and medical director in the safe and efficient operation of the Nuclear Medicine service. Comply with all hospital, federal, NRC, OSHA, and JCAHO guidelines and regulations. Requires ARRT and/or CNMT registration, six to eight years of full-time nuclear medicine experience, and over five years of supervisory experience. Full-time day shift with no weekend work required.
Required Qualifications
- Registration by the ARRT and/or the CNMT
- Six to eight years experience in full time employment as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- Over five years of supervisory experience
- Must be able to comply with all hospital, federal, NRC, OSHA and JCAHO guidelines and regulations
- Must be able to complete quality control and daily checks as required by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and the hospital Radiation Safety Program
- Must be able to perform nuclear Medicine testing
- Must be available for Day Shift
- Must be able to work Full-Time (40 hours per week)
