Job Summary
Lead Team Member Distribution-3rd Shift at Papa John’s oversees the warehouse and distribution operations in the Quality Control Center, ensuring product availability and timely delivery to restaurants. Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound freight with the Transportation Manager, conducting weekly inventory, ordering from vendors, maintaining accurate records (purchase orders, packing slips, invoices, debit/credit memos), managing the distribution of products, and monitoring KPIs. Leads and develops the distribution team, conducts regular performance reviews, participates in cross-functional teams, and manages department budget and payroll using formal continuous improvement methods (Lean, Six Sigma, TQM). Requires English communication skills, forklift/pallet jack operation, knowledge of GMP/HACCP/USDA audits, AS400/WMS, budgetary planning, and proficiency with Microsoft Office; High school diploma or equivalent is required and a college degree or related experience is preferred. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- College degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 2+ years management support experience required
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and audits (e.g., USDA audits, HACCP) required
- AS400 / Warehouse Management System knowledge
- Ability to develop and execute budgetary items for department
- Must be able to safely operate a forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks
- Microsoft Office experience required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- General understanding of mechanical and mathematical skills required
