Job Summary
Lead Team Member Distribution-3rd Shift leads the warehouse and distribution operation within the Quality Control Center to ensure product availability and timely delivery to Papa John’s restaurants. Responsibilities include coordinating inbound/outbound transportation, performing weekly inventory counts, processing purchase orders and invoices, monitoring distribution activities, and maintaining records. Drives productivity through on-the-job training, measurements, and follow-up; develops and manages department budget and labor planning; leads cross-functional teams and implements continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, TQM). Requires capability to develop budgets, manage performance, and ensure compliance with GMP/HACCP and applicable regulations. Proficient in AS400/WMS, MS Office, forklift/pallet jack operation, and overall food-manufacturing distribution knowledge. Educational requirement includes a high school diploma or equivalent; college degree or equivalent experience preferred. 1+ years of management-support experience and strong communication skills in English are required.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ years management support experience required
- Working knowledge of local, state and federal regulations and audits required (e.g., USDA audits, HACCP)
- Must be able to safely operate forklift and manual/electric pallet jacks
- Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- AS400 / Warehouse Management System knowledge
- Experience with budgeting and financial aspects of the department
- Understanding of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and distribution operations
