Job Summary
Lead and inspire your classroom with creativity, care, and excellence while mentoring assistant teachers and modeling The Gardner School's core values. Build meaningful relationships with families and children, then plan engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that spark curiosity. Maintain safety, compliance, and a joyful classroom environment within your purposefully designed, state-of-the-art Andover campus. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent certification with 36 months of experience, plus current CPR/First Aid certification. Starting pay is $21.25-$26.25 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including health insurance, 401(k) match, and childcare tuition discounts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Associate's degree in Early Childhood Education or related
- High school diploma plus EEC Lead Teacher Certification
- 36 months experience
- 2+ years of early childhood education experience
- Lead or co-lead experience preferred
- Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
- Regular and reliable attendance
- Intermediate PC skills
- proficiency with general administrative tasks
- Active engagement throughout the day including standing, sitting on the floor, bending, and lifting up to ~60 lbs
- Ability to fulfill cognitive and interpersonal aspects of a classroom leadership including speaking, hearing, reading, writing, focusing attention, and building relationships
- Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation
