Job Summary
Lead innovative learning activities that promote children's development and growth while ensuring their safety and well-being at all times. Monitor student progress and development, then document findings to inform age-appropriate curriculum planning and engaging activity design. Create a harmonious environment where both children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to work daily. This role requires a Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, a CDA, and one year of prior experience in a certified child development center. Competitive pay ranges from $19.00 to $21.00 per hour with childcare tuition discounts and career advancement opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a similar field of study with child education courses
- CDA considered
- 1year prior experience working in a certified child development center (1 year preferred)
- Prior experience with the assigned age group
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to interact with parents and other staff members
- The ability to be patient, collaborative, creative, and passionate about Early Childhood education
